I was always good at math. When I went to the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts I got the opportunity to increase my knowledge of math. I took Calculus I the summer before my junior year. I then took Calculus II and Calculus III during my junior year as well as Number Theory, Differential Equations, and Group Theory.
During my senior year I continued my math education by taking Statistics, Topology, Linear Algebra, Chaos Theory, and Vector Calculus. On my own I also studied Combinatorics and a little Graph Theory.
During my senior year I was an active participant of the LSMSA Math Club. I have given lectures on various topics including Coordinate Transformation, Mental Math Tricks, Taking Square Roots by hand, finding determinants of matrices by using linear operations, the Gamma and Beta functions, and taking complex numbers to complex powers. I also went to several math competitions as well as organized a school math competition.
